Verizon Labs Experience team is looking for a passionate, talented social expert to join us as Social & Digital Marketing Lead. This role will be responsible for creating and executing a short/mid/long term social strategy that maximizes our reach and engagement, and ultimately delivers a diverse, global Verizon Labs following. This is a key role with exposure to top-level decision makers, with lots of strategic ownership and growth potential.

Youre a master at creating and executing innovative social media strategies that connect brands directly to customers/users leveraging delivering deepened audience relationships and brand awareness. Youre equal parts digital/social strategist, marketer and analyst Your presentation skills are impeccable, and when you talk social, it’s with such passion that you win converts in even the toughest of crowds Youre a team player, who can seamlessly coordinate with product and creative teams to develop digital plans/roadmaps and execute them flawlessly Youre a thought leader and thrive being on the cutting edge

Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across all brands and products. Understand the nuances of each digital channels and manage them uniquely to extract maximum benefit/exposure: web, mobile, social (primarily website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube and Slideshare etc) Implement and manage social listening, publishing and analytics tools to quantify and qualify effectiveness of social media content and campaigns (Percolate, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc) Establish and manage social best practices for the organization Collaborate directly on content calendars Identify and engage with social influencers and accurately translate their relevance to internal brands and marketing initiatives Monitor comments and feedback from social users, compiling it into actionable reports to help shape our content and products Work across departments to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns. Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies in the social space and translate this knowledge into an actionable plan

Education: Bachelors degree in Advertising, Communications, PR/Communications or Marketing preferred or equivilcant work experience
Experience: Digital experience (Agency, or Corp Branding, Marcom or Comm) with experience working specifically in social media Strong communication, writing, project management, analytical and presentation skills Must be a team-player ability to maintain productive relationships with a diverse set of teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and proven track record of managing multiple deadline-driven projects with completion on time, on brand and on budget; willing to do what it takes to get the job done SEO expertise (including Google Analytics)
